In Switzerland, 95% of companies are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The digitalisation of these businesses is crucial for the development, growth, and competitiveness of the Swiss economy. This was a key topic discussed in-depth during the 12th Lunch@Metagon.

Donat Grimm, Partner at Metagon, opened the session by presenting the results of the 2023 survey on Swiss SMEs. The study provides valuable insights into the digitalisation level of Swiss businesses.

Sabir Sheikh, Managing Director Head Listing & Enforcement at SIX Exchange Regulation, shared how the successful digitalisation of internal data storage and workflows provided valuable insights. Matthias Meier, Head of Application Development at insurance broker Funk, walked us through Funk's various digitalisation projects and the challenges they had to overcome.
