Challenge

The existing Teleclub website offered basic functions such as a TV guide and subscription management. With digitalisation and changing customer needs, a modern, cross-device platform became necessary. In addition to optimising information delivery, Video-on-Demand (VoD) and Pay-per-View (PPV) needed to be integrated into the website. For smooth implementation, Metagon was commissioned to coordinate the project and provide methodical leadership.

Solution

Metagon took over the project management of the pre-project and ensured efficient collaboration between Teleclub and the technology partners. The solution architecture was first defined, and detailed technical and functional requirements were developed. Both served as the basis for the technical implementation. Next, the selection of suitable technology partners was carried out, particularly for the CMS as the central element of the website. Metagon coordinated the evaluation process and ensured that the best providers were identified. After selection, Metagon supported Teleclub in contract negotiations and final alignment with the preferred partners. Additionally, a detailed project plan was developed that clearly defined milestones and responsibilities for smooth implementation.

Results
