An interdisciplinary team of more than 150 professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, provides round-the-clock telephone support for medical questions in all life situations. As part of the Allianz Partners Group, Medi24 delivers telemedical services for various health insurance providers.

Challenge
Medi24 commissioned Metagon to lead the integration of telemedical services into the CSS system and the WELL platform, enabling seamless medical consultation for insured persons via the CSS app. In addition to selecting a suitable implementation partner for the technical integration, Metagon assumed responsibility for overall project management, including the cut-over execution and support during the burn-in phase to ensure a smooth transition.
Solution
To successfully integrate telemedical services into the CSS system and the WELL platform, Metagon took on the role of technical project lead for Medi24. This included evaluating a suitable implementation partner, defining a clear target architecture, and closely coordinating all involved stakeholders.
Metagon established a structured project organization with clearly defined milestones and managed the complex collaboration between Medi24, CSS, Allianz IT, and the technology providers. The scope of work covered interface development and coordination, quality assurance, risk management, and cost control.
Key responsibilities also included planning the cut-over and conducting integration and acceptance testing. Following go-live, Metagon supported Medi24 during the burn-in phase to quickly identify and resolve any emerging issues.
Result
The CSS Multimed and WELL integrations were successfully completed within just nine months. Patients now benefit from seamless and efficient care through the integration of the CSS apps into the Medi24 platform. Clear milestone management ensured an uninterrupted rollout of the services. CSS customers now have access to optimized, always-available digital health consultations.
