Challenge
Angestellte Schweiz represents workers across various industries, particularly in the machinery, electrical, and metal industries, as well as chemicals/pharma. With over 15,000 members, they are accustomed to working digitally. As a result, they expect the services offered by Angestellte Schweiz to be available for digital use. Additionally, the demands of employees for mobility and flexibility in the workplace have changed.
Solution
The management team decided to face the challenges of digitalisation head-on. Together with Metagon, the existing application landscape and its functionalities were analysed and compared with current needs. It became clear that replacing the central member management system with a modern CRM solution was both necessary and technically feasible. Metagon prepared the tender documents, evaluated the suitable partner, and implemented the solution.
In the second phase, Metagon evaluated the appropriate partner to operate the entire IT infrastructure in the cloud. This increased the availability, performance, and, most importantly, the necessary flexibility of the workstations.
Results
With the implementation of MS Dynamics and the operation of the infrastructure in the cloud, Angestellte Schweiz has laid the foundation for its digital future. Additionally, IT costs have been reduced, and the quality has been improved.
