Eniwa AG Optimal Solution for Managing the Digital Workplace

With increasing digitalisation and growing security requirements, Eniwa faced the challenge of modernising its existing IT infrastructure and workplace management. Most devices in use were outdated, and application management was based on VMware Mirage, which has no longer been supported since 2020. A central solution for managing mobile devices was also lacking. To find a future-proof solution, Eniwa commissioned Metagon to evaluate a suitable sourcing partner.

Metagon supported Eniwa in evaluating a suitable sourcing partner to operate the digital workplace. The existing IT landscape was first analysed, and a solution concept with clear objectives was developed. Based on this, tender documents were prepared and a public tender was launched using the selective procedure in accordance with Swiss public procurement law (IVöB). Metagon managed the entire evaluation process – from vendor selection and offer assessment to final decision-making. In addition, Metagon supported Eniwa during contract negotiations with the selected partner to ensure a smooth transition.

With Metagon’s structured evaluation methodology, Eniwa was able to identify the ideal provider for operating its digital workplace. The IT infrastructure was modernised, device management was centralised, and operational security significantly improved. Eniwa now benefits from a powerful, flexible and cost-efficient digital workplace.
